Easter tragedy in Surfers Paradise following the drowning death of two men

Two men have died on the Gold Coast after being pulled from a rooftop pool.

The men, aged 34 and 60, were pulled unconscious from the pool at The Top of the Mark apartments on Orchid Avenue around 6.45pm Sunday night.

It’s understood the duo were father and son.

Bystanders and paramedics performed CPR but neither could be revived and were declared dead at the scene.

Police have confirmed both deaths are being treated as non-suspicious, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
