A man has suffered significant facial injuries after being scalded by burning hot radiator fluid on the side of a Gold Coast road.
The man in his 30s had pulled over on the side of Heathwood Drive in Upper Coomera around 8.15am after his car overheated.
It’s believed he was checking over the vehicle when he was hit in the face with hot radiator fluid, leaving him with significant facial burns.
He has since been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
