Police are investigating a hit and run crash that left a trail of destruction in Main Beach overnight.
Initial investigations suggest a white Mazda BT-50 was travelling along Seaworld Drive around 11.10pm when it has hit a boulder between the roadway and pedestrian walkway.
The ute has then struck a parked Subaru Forester and trailer, with the crash causing a huge mess with trees brought down and debris strewn across the roadway.
The person behind the wheel of the ute fled the scene before emergency crews arrived and is yet to be tracked down.
Investigations are ongoing, with police appealing for anyone with information or vision to come forward.
