A man has been left with serious leg injuries after being run over by a car in Logan.
The man was struck by a white hatchback along Rural Street in Park Ridge around 9.30pm last night, before the out-of-control vehicle ploughed into a garage.
The impact of the collision caused the car to erupt into a fireball, engulfing that vehicle and another car inside the garage in flames.
The driver of the hatchback allegedly fled the scene following the crash and remains on the run.
The victim, a 28-year-old Park Ridge man, was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.
A crime scene has been declared, with a major investigation now underway.
Anyone with information or dashcam vision is being urged to contact police.
