Driver on the run after early morning crash into fence on Gold Coast

A search is underway for a driver who fled the scene of a crash on the Gold Coast early this morning.

A white Holden lost control along Amadeus Street in Elanora around 1.50am before slamming into the fence of a home.

The person behind the wheel of the vehicle failed to stick around and fled the scene before police arrived.

Thankfully no one else was injured in the crash.

Investigations are ongoing.
