A person is recovering in hospital after crashing their car into a tree on the Gold Coast early this morning.
Paramedics – including critical care – were called to Main Beach around 2.30am following reports of the crash.
It’s understood a person had crashed into a number of parked cars along Waterways Drive before colliding with a tree.
The person was assessed briefly at the scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
They’re understood to be in a stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
It follows a two car crash on the Gold Coast last night which saw another person hospitalised.
Paramedics were called to Studio Drive and Binstead Way in Pacific Pines around 6.00pm.
They assessed one person before taking them to hospital in a stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
