A 28-year-old man has been charged over the alleged sexual assault of two women in two separate incidents on the Gold Coast.
It’s alleged in one incident he was driving for a ride-share company, and the other a taxi company.
One of the incidents was so frightening, the victim was forced to jump out of the moving vehicle to escape.
The first alleged assault happened on November 6, 2022 when a woman caught a ride-share vehicle from Marine Parade at Coolangatta to an address at Mermaid Beach.
The rider allegedly sexually touched the woman as she exited the car, before she pushed his hand away and fled.
On June 24 this year, a different woman caught a taxi from a bar in Broadbeach, when the same alleged predator sexually assaulted her on two occasions forcing her to jump out of the moving taxi.
The woman thankfully avoided injury.
Following investigations which were assisted by the taxi-company and ride-share operator, a 28-year-old Helensvale man has now been charged with three counts of sexual assault.
He is scheduled to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court on July 19.
