Police are investigating after an e-scooter rider was seriously injured in a nasty crash in Labrador.
The rider was travelling west along Central Street around 6.30pm on Wednesday when he crossed onto Turpin Road and was struck by a Holden Commodore.
The 22-year-old local man suffered significant head and leg injuries and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
The driver of the Holden, a 58-year-old Southport man, is continuing to assist police.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
