Crime scene declared following suspicious fire at Pimpama home

Police are investigating a suspicious early-morning blaze at a home on the northern Gold Coast.

A motorbike on a trailer erupted into flames just before 5am today in the front yard of a townhouse on Fannon Court in Pimpama.

The blaze quickly spread to the property before firefighters could arrive with bystanders attempting to douse the flames.

Thankfully, no one was home at the time, and no one was physically injured.

The front of the property has been damaged.

A crime scene has been declared, and the fire is being treated as suspicious.
