Fire crews have managed to douse a fire that erupted at a home on the Gold Coast early this morning.
The blaze is believed to have broken out in the back bedroom of a house along Encamp Street in Reedy Creek just before 6am.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency service spokesperson told myGC crews managed to extinguish the flames around 20 minutes later.
Fortunately, no one was inside the property at the time, with paramedics cleared from the scene by QFES.
Police have since declared a crime scene as they continue to investigate what caused it.
