Crime scene declared after body found in Gold Coast park

A crime scene has been established at a park in Nerang following the discovery of a body.

Police were called to Glennon Park, off Pappas Way, around 6.30am following reports a body of a male had been found.

It’s understood the man had suffered serious injuries, including burns.

The area has since been taped off as Forensic officers continue to comb the scene for clues.

Police have confirmed the circumstances surrounding the man’s death are ongoing.
