Country music star Adam Brand has taken to social media to reveal his devastation after his Gold Coast home was gutted by fire.

The blaze broke out at the Maudsland property just before midday on Monday.

Seven crews were called to battle the inferno, which was so intense it caused the roof of the house to collapse.

It’s not known at this stage exactly what sparked the fire, but police have confirmed it’s not being treated as suspicious.

A fire investigator is expected to return to the scene today to try and piece together exactly what occurred.

Brand has since taken to social media to thank the fire crews who desperately worked to try and save his home, describing the moment he witnessed it go up in flames as something that “shook him to the core”.

“It was with a sense of surreal shock that I saw my home being consumed by a fire,” he said.

“This is a moment that shakes you to the core… A stark reminder of the unpredictable journey of life.”

Brand said he was grateful no one was injured in the inferno.

“The loss of a home is a devastating blow but having my girls safe and unharmed puts everything in perspective,” he said.

“We are safe and together, that’s what truly matters.”

Brand continued by saying he was still in the process of comprehending the “full extent of the situation”.

“The memories and personal treasures lost in the flames are irreplacable, but I am reminded of resilience and strength that we all possess in time of adversity,” he said.
