Excitement is building for next month’s Groundwater Country Music Festival with organisers releasing the program for the three-day spectacular.
Thousands of people will descend on Broadbeach from October 18 to 20 for this year’s event.
This year’s festival will feature 55 artists across 12 stages and venues.
Shannon Noll will headline Friday night action under the Big Top in Kurrawa Park with the Davidson Brothers and Taylor Moss also on stage, while Adam Brand will feature on the Surf Parade stage.
Saturday will feature The Linda Ronstadt Show with Ella Hooper on the Surf Parade stage with sets from Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham, while the Kurrawa Big Top will see Canadian country star Tim Hicks in his first Groundwater performance, along with Josh Setterfield and Grammy winner Jim Lauderdale.
Legendary Aussie country star Kasey Chambers will headline the final day of the festival on the Surf Parade stage.
“We love that feeling in October when the energy of country music takes over the Gold Coast,” Festival Director Mark Duckworth said.
“In 2024 it’s such an incredible and diverse lineup of artists our Groundwater fans are in for a treat and the team are planning to deliver something special for everyone.”
