Emergency crews have been kept busy on the Gold Coast today, with four people hospitalised following separate accidents across the city.
The first happened at a workplace in Yatala around 9.00am, when a man in his 20s and boy in his late teens were crushed by a pallet of stone.
The teen suffered injuries to his leg, while the man suffered an ankle injury.
Both were treated at the scene before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
Just two hours later, paramedics were called to a workplace in Worongary after a man in his 30s was reportedly crushed by a loading machine.
He also suffered leg injuries and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Meantime, a woman has been hospitalised after suffering burns at a home in Benowa.
A gas bottle reportedly exploded at the property just before 12.30pm.
Thankfully she is in a stable condition.
