A woman is fighting for life after being pulled from waters at Paradise Point.
Paramedics were called to Royal Albert Crescent just after 6.40am on Wednesday.
Initial reports suggest the woman in her 70s may have been swimming in a canal near a private residence.
She was treated on the scene by paramedics.
The woman has since been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
