A manhunt is underway after a worker at the Tugun Bowls Club was threatened with a knife during a terrifying armed hold-up.
A man dressed in all black clothing entered the club along Kaleena Street just before 7.00pm on Sunday armed with the weapon.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said he allegedly threatened a male worker, demanding he hand over cash.
The employee complied, with the offender managing to get away with a sum of money.
Police conducted a search of the area but failed to locate the alleged thief who remains on the run.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 180cm tall, with a slim build and was wearing a black beanie, black jumper, and black pants.
Investigations are ongoing, with detectives appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
