LATEST @ 7.30 AM | Three children who were taken from a home on the Gold Coast, sparking an amber alert, have been found.

Queensland Police confirmed the 3-year-old girl, 5-year-old boy and 6-year-old boy were located at a service station along Rochester Drive in Mount Warren Park around 7am this morning.

The blue Hyundai was located nearby a short time later.

A 27-year-old man remains in police custody after being arrested at a property in Slacks Creek overnight.

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who may have seen the blue Hyundai i30 with Queensland registration 205SKW travelling between the Gold Coast and Logan areas between 4.30pm and 10pm last night to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.

LATEST @ 6AM | Police are continuing to appeal for urgent help to find three young children who are missing from the Gold Coast and could be at significant risk.

The 3-year-old girl, 5-year-old boy and 6-year-old boy are believed to have been taken from a home on Victor Avenue in Paradise Point around 4pm on Sunday by a man known to them.

The man was later tracked down at a property in Slacks Creek around 10.15pm last night.

He is continuing to assist police with investigations, however, the three children and the car they were travelling in are still missing.

EARLIER @ 4AM | Police have issued an Amber Alert as they search for three missing children on the Gold Coast.

Queensland Police say they are looking for a 3-year-old girl, 5-year-old boy and 6-year-old boy who went missing from Victor Avenue in Paradise Point at 4pm on Sunday, who they say may be at significant risk.

The children are described as Caucasian, slim build with blonde hair.
