An adult and baby have suffered smoke inhalation as firefighters extinguish a fire in a home in Miami.
The blaze broke out around 10.20am at the Bradley Avenue property in the kitchen.
It was sparked from the stovetop, with two fire crews working to control it from spreading.
Paramedics treated an adult and infant, whose genders are unknown, for smoke inhalation at the scene.
They have since been transported to Gold Coast Uni Hospital in stable conditions.
