And with the The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Barrier Draw, the Magic Millions Yearling Sale and The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday – there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained.

Here is a guide to all the upcoming events at this year’s The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival:

The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Barrier Draw & Beach Gallop

When: Tuesday 10 January (beach gallops at 6:30am, 7:30am & 8:30am)

Where: Surfers Paradise Foreshore (opposite Trickett Street)

What: Don’t miss the world-famous thoroughbred beach gallop at sunrise on Surfers Paradise beach. This is a free public event to mark the Barrier Draw for the world’s richest sales based incentive Raceday and sees the draw for the $2 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic and the $2 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas.

Cost: Free and open to the public.

2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale

When: 10 – 16 January

Where: Magic Millions Sales Complex, Bundall

What: At the heart of Magic Millions is the Yearling Sale. It’s the place to find the next racing star and is the only auction house to sell a Golden Slipper winning colt this millennium, as well as being the sales source of the world champion Winx. Over 1,200 of the southern hemisphere’s most outstanding yearlings will go under the hammer over seven consecutive days. The sales are open to the public and free to attend, so come along and check out the cream of the Australasian yearling crop.

2023 TAB 2YO Calcutta Dinner

What: The TAB 2YO Calcutta Dinner is where you can win, or bid, to ‘own’ a horse in the 2YO Classic on The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday. Come and enjoy a 2-course meal and beverages while the team of racing identities provide insights into the feature runners of the race, followed by the exhilarating horse ‘sales’ conducted by the Magic Millions auctioneers. What: Come Raceday all eyes will turn to the track for the renowned 11.75 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday, Pacific Fair Fashions On The Field and the Magic Millions VIP Marquee will host the who’s who of the social and racing scenes. This year there are 10 races on the card with a staggering eight races worth $1 million or more, plus two races of $500,000. This raceday has cemented its reputation on the international racing scene as a must attend event so get your tickets for a fun and glamourous day out!
