Trevor Ward, coach of Olympic gold medalist and Gold Coast local Arisa Trew, shared the challenges they faced on the journey to the Olympics. He revealed that Arisa was initially told she was “too young and not good enough” to compete. Trevor went on to say,

“Arisa is the first girl that ever did a 720, and then did a 900 after 4 days… it took Tony Hawk 10 years.”
