After almost a decade of planning, the iconic Greenmount Beach Resort, which offers stunning views of a renowned surf break, will be demolished to make way for three towering structures.
This news seems to have divided the Gold Coast with locals convinced the high rises will ruin the feel of the laid back surf town.
