Did you know there’s a way to snag a hot roast chicken from Coles for free?

Here’s the scoop: if there aren’t any available for you to buy during specific hours, you can get a voucher to pick one up for free that week.

A Coles spokeswoman confirmed this policy to news.com.au, noting that their ready-to-eat chooks are among the most bought items in the supermarket.

Coles Hot Roast Chicken Promise is that the chooks should be available when customers need them! So, if the their RSPCA approved Hot Roast Chickens are unavailable during set hours, customers are able to collect a voucher for a free chicken which can be used within the next seven days.

She also mentioned that the promise is available nationwide, but does exclude Coles 40 “resort” stores, which are in popular holiday spots.

“It’s also important to note that different trading hours by state/store mean different stores have different time periods on their signs,” she added.

Professional home organiser Catherine Carney from Kyneton found this out herself, shared her bargain on Facebook. “PSA from a tightarse single Mum… If you go into Coles and they’re out of roast chooks, make sure you get your voucher for a freebie! I did dinner tonight for $2.”
