Mark Zuckerberg and Benson Boone are now officially in a sequined jumpsuit showdown. The Meta CEO turned heads at his wife Priscilla Chan’s 40th birthday party, borrowing Boone’s iconic sparkly blue onesie for a surprise performance. The jumpsuit, first seen on Boone during his viral Grammy performance, became the star of Zuckerberg’s bold birthday surprise.

As the host of the black-tie event, Zuckerberg kicked things off in a classic black suit, only for it to be dramatically ripped off to reveal the dazzling jumpsuit underneath. He then hopped on the piano, hyped up the crowd, and performed Boone’s new single Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else. While his enthusiasm was clear, it’s safe to say the performance may not have quite matched Boone’s energetic Grammy debut. Whether he was lip-syncing or singing live, Zuckerberg still managed to get the crowd involved—though he may have left a few wondering if he could’ve pulled off that famous backflip.

Social media reactions were mixed, with some fans loving the surprise, while others weren’t as impressed. One user playfully commented, “If you’re gonna steal a performance, do the backflip!” But many still appreciated Zuckerberg’s commitment to the moment, and, of course, the jumpsuit.

Boone himself couldn’t resist commenting, jokingly wondering about Zuckerberg’s comfort in the snug suit: “I hope his nuts are okay,” he wrote, poking fun at the tight fit.

While the sequined jumpsuit battle may have been more about fun than fierce competition, both Zuckerberg and Boone owned the look… although it’s clear who has the edge in the performance department.
