Coldplay frontman Chris Martin surprised a devoted fan by giving her a ride to the BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend event over the weekend.

Saundra Glenn, a 64-year-old with osteoarthritis, found herself struggling to make her way to the festival’s entrance due to her hip, knee, and ankle issues.

As Saundra was contemplating heading back home, she was approached by Chris Martin in a sleek black Mercedes. With a simple invitation to hop in, Chris whisked Saundra into the festival, chatting with her along the way about her community work in Luton.

Saundra shared her delightful encounter with Chris on social media, including a cute selfie.

After making sure Saundra got to the festival’s accessible area safely, Chris and his team stayed with her until she was comfortably settled. Saundra called the experience unforgettable.

In a statement to the Daily Mail Saundra said, “He’s shown that kindness rules the world. Be more Chris Martin.”
