Teen killed after motorbike slams into parked ute

An 18-year-old man has died after his motorbike slammed into a parked ute in Brisbane.

According to police, the motorcycle was travelling south on Hawthorne Road at Hawthorne around 7.40pm on Sunday when it hit the parked and  unoccupied utility.

The rider, an 18-year-old Fortitude Valley man, died at the scene.

Police have confirmed the Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
