A man is fighting for life after a serious crash in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
Emergency services were called to Waterford Tamborine Rd at Tamborine around 11.49pm on Wednesday night following reports a car had crashed into a tree.
A man in his 20s was found to be suffering life-threatening chest and abdominal injuries.
Crews managed to free the man from the vehicle before he was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
