A man and his dog have been rescued after their boat capsized in wild seas off Ephraim Island.
Water police and Polair found the vessel overturned near James Cook Esplanade around 9.30pm on Monday.
Police managed to save the dog, which had been left abord the boat.
The man had already made it to shore earlier and was located safe and well by police in Biggera Waters.
Investigations are ongoing.
