A driver is on the run following a stolen car crash on the Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning.
A grey Landcruiser lost control along KP McGrath Drive in Elanora around 1am, with the vehicle ploughing into a parked car.
The person behind the wheel fled the scene on foot immediately after the crash, sparking a foot chase.
The dog squad was called in to help track down the offender, but they were unable to be located and remain at large.
Police have confirmed the Landcruiser was stolen from a home in Palm Beach around 6.30pm last night.
