A man has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a nasty accident on a Gold Coast construction site.
Emergency crews rushed to a site on Hollywell Road in Biggera Waters around 11.30am following reports a worker had been seriously injured.
Upon arrival, they found the man, aged in his 40s, suffering significant injuries to his head, shoulder, back and legs.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Investigations into how the incident occurred are ongoing.
