King Charles III can dance, and we have the video footage to prove it!

The beloved royal showed off his moves at a reception following the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting held at St. James’s Palace on Wednesday (October 2), as seen in video footage obtained by the Daily Record.

In the video, King Charles, joined by his bride Queen Camilla, learns a traditional Samoan dance from professional rugby player Freddie Tuilagi. When asked to join the athlete, the King gladly attempted to mimic a few moves and was granted a “ceremonial fly swat” to hang over his shoulder for a job well done.

Per the Telegraph, Tuilagi told the King he was going to dance for him, and the King took it as an enthusiastic invitation to debut his moves!

“I told [the] King I’m going to dance for you — when you go to Samoa, this is how they will dance.”

The 75-year-old royal has plans to visit the Pacific island nation later this month, and, according to Tuilagi, will have no problem blending in with the local dancers.

“He’s got the moves.”

King Charles continues to navigate life with an undisclosed form of cancer which he announced earlier this year. During a visit to Southport in August, the patriarch revealed that he wasn’t doing “too bad” despite experiencing some strange symptoms associated with chemotherapy such as losing his sense of taste.
