A man has suffered serious injuries after his motorbike collided with a kangaroo in Parkwood early this morning.
The man was travelling along Napper Road when the animal ran out just before 5am, striking the motorbike.
The man, whose age is not known, was treated at the scene by paramedics for a significant leg injury and chest pain.
He has since been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
The condition of the kangaroo is not known.
