Motorists travelling on the Pacific Motorway this morning are being warned of lengthy delays following separate incidents.
Two lanes have been blocked northbound at Nerang following a single-vehicle crash just after 6am.
It’s believed the driver may have suffered a medical episode before losing control.
Emergency crews are currently on scene treating the motorist, whose condition is not known at this stage.
Traffic is extremely heavy in both directions, with drivers being urged to allow additional time for travel.
Meantime, a car has erupted into flames southbound on the M1 at Tugun.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson confirmed crews are currently battling the blaze, which has fully engulfed the vehicle.
One lane has been blocked southbound.
