A man has died in a tragic workplace incident on the northern Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to a business along Darlington Drive in Yatala around 2.45am on Tuesday.
Upon arrival, they found a man in his 30s suffering “life-threatening injuries”.
Despite desperate efforts by paramedics, the man could not be revived and died at the scene.
Police have confirmed they’re assisting Workplace Health and Safety with the investigation.
“Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the non-suspicious death of a man at Yatala this morning,” A Queensland Police spokesperson said in a statement.
“Emergency services were called to a Darlington Drive address just before 3am in relation to a workplace incident, where a man was declared deceased.
“Police are assisting Workplace Health and Safety with investigations”.
There are no further details available at this time.
