We all have a natural curiosity when it comes to our local heroes, especially when they’re faced with an emergency or a disaster!

City of Gold Coast invites you and your little ones to our newly created Emergency Services Safari events.

Meet the hard-working heroes from our emergency services and volunteers dedicated to keeping the community safe. Get up close with the emergency services vehicles and learn what to do when faced with severe weather and disasters.

• Mock-rescue demonstrations
• Engage with experts on emergency response and recovery strategies
• Important tips for personal preparedness and planning
• Interactive children’s activities
• Plenty of giveaways
• An assortment of delicious food trucks!
