Driver assisting police after cars damaged in nasty Gold Coast crash

An investigation is underway following a nasty crash in Nerang.

Two vehicles collided along Nerang Broadbeach Road just after 8pm on Monday.

The impact of the collision caused a toolbox to fall off one of the vehicles, resulting in damage to a third car.

One of the drivers was treated at the scene by paramedics for neck pain before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

The motorist is now assisting police with investigations.
