A man’s been busted allegedly drug-driving after crashing his ute into a barrier on the Pacific Motorway.
The 39-year-old lost control while travelling along the Smith Street off-ramp at Arundel around 3am on Monday.
Police confirmed the man managed to get himself out of the vehicle, however he was suffering a nasty head injury.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics, before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
He has since been issued with a notice to appear for driving under the influence of a drug.
The man will face Southport Magistrates Court on May 27.
