One lucky Queenslander has just become the country’s newest multi-millionaire, but they don’t even know it!
The Sunshine State resident held the only division one winning ticket in last night’s Oz Lotto draw, therefore taking home the entire $50 million jackpot.
Although the entry is registered to an online account, officials from The Lott were unable to make contact with the winner overnight to break the life-changing news.
“I was ready to confirm Oz Lotto’s newest division one winner straight after the results of last night’s draw were known, but sadly whenever I called the number provided, it just rang out and went straight to message bank,” The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said
“If you see a number of missed calls on your phone, you could be the winner we’re trying to contact.
“You may not think it’s possible you’re the division one winner we’re searching for, but if you purchased an online entry into this week’s Oz Lotto draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!”
Mr Hart is urging all Oz Lotto players in South East Queensland to check their entries as soon as possible.
The winning numbers were 18, 28, 2, 4, 1, 47 and 37, while the supplementary numbers were 11, 24 and 27.
