Parts of the Gold Coast are bracing for a second round of severe storm action with several cells developing across the southeast already.
Storms are moving in from the north with areas of the northern Gold Coast likely to be in the firing line again.
The Bureau is warning of the possibility of large hailstones, damaging winds and heavy rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.
One cell moving in from the north was forecast by BOM to impact Beenleigh by 3.05pm.
A more general severe storm warning is in place for the rest of the southeast including the Gold Coast with the threat of storms developing over the next few hours.
