A teenage girl has been rushed to hospital following a nasty rope swing accident in the Coomera River at Oxenford.
Multiple emergency crews rushed to Tamborine Oxenford Road just before 11.30am on Monday following reports a swimmer had been injured.
Upon arrival, they found a teenage girl had fallen approximately three metres from a rope swing onto rocks below.
The girl had to be rescued from the water before she was treated at the scene by paramedics for suspected spinal injuries.
She’s since been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
