A nasty crash has sparked a mass power outage on the southern Gold Coast.
A car lost control while travelling along Golden Four Drive in Bilinga around 5am on Wednesday before ploughing into a power pole.
The crash cut power to more than 100 homes in Bilinga, with several streets including Coolangatta Rd, Gold Coast Hwy, Golden Four Dr, Johnson St, Johnston St and Pacific Pde affected.
Emergency crews are on scene working to fix the issue, however, police have warned lights in the area will be out for some time.
