Motorists are facing a third straight day of traffic chaos on the Pacific Motorway following another accident.

A motorbike and car collided southbound on the M1 at Gaven, just before Exit 69.

It happened around 6.30am on Friday, with emergency crews rushing to the scene.

The male rider of the motorcycle suffered a leg injury.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Lengthy delays are still being experienced, with traffic at a standstill back to Ormeau.
