A two-year-old boy is fighting for his life following a horror crash in Nambour.
The vehicle the toddler was travelling in rolled on the corner of Lamington Terrace and Panorama Drive around 6.30pm on Wednesday before crashing down an embankment.
The child suffered life-threatening head injuries in the crash and was flown to the Queensland Childrens Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the car, a 26-year-old Woombye woman, managed to escape with minor injuries and was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
She’s currently assisting police with inquiries.
The Forensic Crash Unit has also launched an investigation.
They’re appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the Nambour area just prior to the crash, to come forward.
