I’m not sure I’d want to take a sip from a sweaty rockstar’s shoe, but Post Malone kept up his Aussie tradition of doing a “shoey” on stage while performing at Heritage Bank Stadium this weekend for his Gold Coast show.
“I love how I’ve only sang two songs and somehow I’m drinking beer out of a shoe,” Malone told the Spilt Milk crowd on Sunday night.
The rap/rocker tried to set a record of the most amount of shoeys – made famous by Aussie F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo – at his Brisbane show on Friday night racking up seven kicks filled with ale during his set.
The GC audience was given a choice of which drinking shoe would be selected by the singer, with the classic Aussie Dunlop Volley winning the vote over a Nike Air Max.
