THREE juveniles are in custody after allegedly leading police on a dramatic stolen car chase across the Gold Coast early this morning.

The police chopper spotted the stolen Toyota Rav at a service station in Mudgeeraba around 10pm on Thursday, before tracking it up the M1.

The car exited at Brisbane Road in Biggera Waters where officers were able to successfully deploy tyre spikes to bring the vehicle to a stop.

The three males fled into nearby bushland, where the dog squad was called in to help track them down.

The trio was eventually taken into custody, with charges yet to be laid.

Police have confirmed the vehicle was stolen from a home in Pacific Pines last night.

Investigations are ongoing.
