Manhunt after woman carjacked at knifepoint at Logan car wash

A major manhunt is underway after a woman was threatened with a knife and her car stolen at a car wash in Logan.

The woman was washing her vehicle at a business along Bougainville Street in Beenleigh around 11pm on October 25 when she was confronted by a man armed with a knife.

Police say the man allegedly threatened the woman, before taking the car and was last seen driving along George Street towards Beenleigh Central.

Investigators have released images of a man pictured at a nearby business shortly before the robbery and are appealing for him to come forward.

Detectives are also appealing for anyone with vision, or who may have been driving on Bougainville Street between 10.30pm and 11pm, to contact them.

Investigations are ongoing.
