A manhunt is underway for a pair of thieves accused of targeting two chemists in Logan and on the Gold Coast this morning.
Police were first called to a chemist on Bryants Road in Logan around 3am, following reports it had been broken into by two males.
“It is alleged they have entered the premises by breaking the glass doors with a hammer and kicking the glass in,” A Queensland Police spokesperson said.
The pair managed to get away with two tills, before quickly targeting a second chemist along Eggersdorf Road in Ormeau just 15 minutes later.
It’s understood the brazen duo stole several thousand dollars worth of medication.
Police have confirmed a stolen blue Subaru Outback was used in both robberies.
Investigations are continuing.
