One very lucky Victorian woman has taken out the entire $60 million jackpot in last night’s Powerball.
She’s become the second-biggest lottery winner so far this year.
The woman, who’s from the regional area of Daylesford, plans to fork out a lot of her good fortune to charities close to her heart.
The new multi-millionaire told The Lott she was in shock when she received their confirmation call.
“I’ve won $60 million! I don’t know what to say! I never thought I’d get this call,” she told an official from The Lott.
“I can’t believe this is happening. My husband is walking around dumbfounded. He accidentally hung up on you in a frenzy,
“I’m just looking at these numbers and they all mean something. They’re all special to me. Those numbers are family and friends’ birthdays that I always play,
“While still coming to terms with the shock of scoring $60 million, the recently retired winner revealed she already knew how she’d use some of her prize,
“I think a lot of charities might benefit – especially those that help disadvantaged children. This prize will help a lot of people out. It’s my main goal.”
Her winning marked 18-game entry was purchased online.
