A man has died after losing control of his car along a popular Gold Coast road.
Early investigations suggest a silver Subaru Forester was travelling north along The Panorama just after 8.30pm on Sunday, when it failed to stop at the intersection and crashed into an embankment on Worongary Road.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but the 30-year-old male driver couldn’t be saved.
He was the only person in the vehicle at the time.
Queensland Police are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam vision of the crash, or the lead up to it, to come forward.
