Gold Coast seniors are encouraged to nab their tickets to this year’s free concert.
The Mayor’s Seniors Concert includes three show times at the Home of the Arts (HOTA) on Wednesday 18th October, with the free tickets available from tomorrow.
‘Lights! Camera! Music!’ is the theme for this year’s show with patrons to be taken back in time to reminisce about films through the ages.
Acting Mayor Donna Gates is encouraging local seniors to get involved.
“This year’s Mayor’s Seniors Concert will present an exciting flashback of the biggest hit songs from some of our favourite movies,” Cr Gates says.
“You’ll be entertained by a talented cast of singers and dancers during the one-hour concert singing tunes from Hollywood films such as Casablanca, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Singin’ In The Rain, Titanic, Ghost and The Bodyguard,
“Tickets are available from 9am tomorrow so make sure you get in quick. These concerts always book out fast.”
There will be around 500 tickets available for each concert, or 1500 in total.
The one-hour sessions will run at 9.30am, 12.00pm and 2.30pm.
Tickets available from 9am Wednesday, September 27.
