A man has been charged after another man was allegedly assaulted at a club in Broadbeach.
The 50-year-old victim was allegedly punched inside the club on Surf Parade just before 4.30pm on Thursday.
The attack knocked the man unconscious.
The man was treated by paramedics on the scene before being transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
A 27-year-old Palm Beach man handed himself into Police shortly after the incident.
He has since been charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm.
He will front Southport Magistrates Court on Friday.
